rbb economics
RBB is one of the leading international consultancies specialising in competition economics, with offices in London, Brussels, Paris, The Hague, Madrid, Stockholm, Melbourne and Johannesburg employing around 100 economists and econometricians.

We provide expert economic advice in the context of competition law procedures before competition authorities and courts, including matters relating to merger control, cartel investigations, abuse of dominance and related damages procedures

Our economists have considerable experience advising on major cases before the European Commission and all of the major European domestic competition authorities, as well as in e.g. China, Australia, Brazil, India, South Africa, the Russian Federation and Singapore. Examples of the cases we have been involved in can be found here.

We generally advise clients as part of an integrated team, including external legal and other advisers. Our role generally includes identifying the main potential competition concerns and developing the economic strategies to address them, providing commentary on and input to written submissions, preparing economic reports and analyses, which may be submitted as part of the clients’ main submission or as a stand-alone economic report, and assisting and participating in meetings with the competition authorities, including the presentation of economic analyses and expert reports.

We are always seeking ambitious, highly motivated economists and econometricians to join our multinational team. If you have outstanding academic credentials and flourish in the face of complex, intellectually challenging issues then we would love to hear from you. In particular, we offer short internships to candidates who might be thinking about a career in competition economics once their studies are over. These internships can be taken up at any of our offices. On a number of occasions, these internships have resulted in permanent positions.
